The Empowered Foreman:
We are actively growing our talented and ambitious Commercial Electrical Foreman Team. To be considered for this team you must first be described as a caring, honest, detail-oriented, confident leader by the people that know you best. As a Commercial Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of electricians to complete various commercial projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. The NEC gives us the bare minimum installation practices, not the height of craftsmanship possible.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of electricians. We call this "We is stronger than Me."
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations, codes, and project specs. We call this "Trust but Verify"
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, and other trades to ensure a smooth project. We always say, "Be the Electrician they Want to use, Not Have to use."
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems and develop solutions to complex issues. We always say, "A problem is easier to fix on paper than in concrete."
- Provide technical guidance and hands on support to team members onsite. We call this, "Belt on Leadership."
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial projects, with at least 4 years of experience as a Foreman. Exposure to a wide range of electrical systems, equipment, projects types and blue prints keeps the job exciting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best work. As the leader your actions and values will set the pace at which your team produces.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to maintain composure. Working well under pressure is true sign of strength.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and a strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. You will set the safety standard not by what you preach, but what you tolerate.
If you are a caring, ambitious, and talented commercial electrical foreman with a passion for making the world a brighter place (Dad Joke), we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. We offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for personal and career growth and development.
Having started in 2015, Empowered Electric is still just getting started. Help us build something your would be proud to write your name on.
