Job Description:The Devils Lake Journal and Country Peddler is seeking a full time, Outside Sales Mangager This position will be responsible for growing existing accounts and securing new accounts for different newspapers, and eventually potentially leading a team.
Responsibilities:
-Demonstrate a strong commitment to the community
-Strategize for best go to market methods
-Travel throughout assigned territory to service existing account list and develop new customers.
-Develop sales ideas to help create new sources of revenue.
-Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
-Possesses great leadership skills and experience with executive visibility.
- Listen to customer’s needs and advise them on effective use of advertising.
-Maintain knowledge of advertising rates, current circulation.
-Provide proofs to clients as requested.
-Make cold calls and prepare sales presentations in an ongoing effort to develop new business.
•-Have sufficient transportation.
Skills:
- 4+years’ experience in a sales related position
Salary: DOE plus + monthly commissions

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize account growth
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of products and services
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce or similar CRM system
Experience:
- Proven experience in outside sales or account management, preferably in the technology industry
- Strong business development skills with a track record of successfully closing deals
- Technical sales experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
