Our company is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and experienced professional for the IDD Administrative position for a privately owned company licensed for the past 23 years in serving approximately 17 individuals over the age of 18, diagnosed with Intellectual Developmental disabilities, including 2 to 3 clients with Mental Health needs. We have approx. 30 staff employed in 3 different lovely private residential home settings. Our dedicated staff provide the 24/7 care and supports needed. Located in Rockingham County, VA.
Having fewer clients per home offers staff the time and opportunity to use their own creative talents and innovative skills in supporting those in our care to attain their unique personal goals.

Minimum Requirements include but Not limited to:
Education and training:
- Must have approx. 3 years experience in an administrative position for the IDD population.
- Must have a 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Human services.
- Having an RN background is a BONUS!!
- Computer literacy and processing skills
- CPR and first aid Certifications
- Knowledge of the regulations in Blood Borne Pathogens exposure
- HIPAA privacy protocols
- Knowledge and experience of licensing regulations for DBHDS & DMAS
- Training in all areas of Human Rights and protocols
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in Risk Analysis and protocol
- Knowledge of Licensing regulations under Virginia DBHDS.
- Has knowledge and experience in working with both mental health, and intellectual, developmentally disabled adult individuals ( IDD) over the age of 18 and into the senior age category.
- Works well under pressure and is flexible to respond to changing priorities, unplanned events, or emergencies.
- Ability to manage and oversee a minimum of 30 staff members across multiple homes.
- Building and fostering positive morale and team building experience.
- Knowledge of Virginia IDD waiver- based programs
- Must have excellent speaking and writing skills
- Experience with telephone, copy machine, PC, Microsoft word processing software, and fax.
- Good driving record
Work Schedule:
- Average 40 hours minimum weekly
- AM & PM shift flexibility
- Flexibility to respond in emergency situations 24/7
- Availability on Holidays and weekends, as needed
Additional Benefits:
- A $5,000.00 sign on bonus to be given after a six-month evaluation period.
