Walsh is currently seeking a Marine/Deep FoundationSuperintendent for our work in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing construction means/methods for all aspects of foundation and marine projects, including schedules, productivity innovations, and site logistics

Actively participating in and/or conducting regular safety meetings; maintaining a safe work environment with the goal of zero accidents and injuries through the Walsh standards of “actively caring” and proper planning

Fostering a proactive quality culture to prevent mistakes and leave a legacy of expert workmanship at project completion; working with quality managers/champions to assure work is being planned and performed in accordance with the owner’s requirements

Assisting the project management team with ensuring compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the city, state and federal government agencies having jurisdiction over the work on the project

Supervising and organizing forepersons and their trade workers; ensuring workers have the appropriate tools and equipment they need and are fully qualified to perform assigned duties

Supervising, training, coaching and mentoring field personnel to grow to be the next generation of leaders in the foundation/marine construction industry

Responsible for controlling costs, adhering to budgets and managing equipment-related expenses. Ensuring staff is aware of expected and actual production rates for assigned items of work

Coordinating multiple facets of work, identifying potential risks and applicable mitigation strategies to protect the workers, the project schedule, and the project’s financial success

Organizing and coordinating subcontractor activities for a seamless interaction with self-perform work

Developing, executing, and monitoring work plans as well as daily/weekly/monthly schedules in concert with the Project Manager

Having fun building some of the coolest infrastructure projects in the area!!!
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
-
10+ years of experience
- Basic computer skills are preferred
- Specific roles may require relocation

Salary range is $162,000 to $243,000
