Job Title: Customer Service: National Accounts Administrator
FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Chicago-based
Summary: A Customer Service Representative specializing in National Accounts Administrator works with customer service, specializing in all EDI transactions and buyer communications. They are responsible for developing, coordinating and facilitating effective customer service procedures and setting and maintaining satisfaction goals related to our products and services. In addition to being an excellent written and verbal communicator, this position requires someone who demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness and strong interpersonal skills. Experience with EDI and GDSN is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties/projects may be assigned.
- Distributor program checkpoint – review all distributor programs relevant to national accounts both prior to & after authorization – includes internal & external communications with distributor, broker and sales rep community
- EDI transactions – process orders/resolve order issues/disputed pricing particularly for major broadliners but with all other EDI customers – communicate with buyers
- Corporate national account contact regarding pricing discrepancies and freight adjustments to purchase orders
- Communicates with national accounts during product transitions; acts as a liaison, assists in submitting paperwork, processes samples
- Supports sales teams with miscellaneous requests
- National account follow up including assisting with new account set up, making sure pricing is correct and communicating order procedures to distributors
- Dedicated to assisting the pickle plants as issues come up particularly with national accounts and corporate orders
- Freight Checkpoint: Periodic analysis of all prepaid and prepaid add shipments working with all reps, following up on deductions, identifying uncaptured/erroneous freight charges
- Attends scheduled meetings with the National Food Service Team and assists with special projects
- Assorted projects for senior management as assigned
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency in Microsoft Office, EDI, GDSN and MRP software
