Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute events, including conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, and fundraisers
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and expectations
- Research and select suitable venues for events
- Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors
- Coordinate event logistics, such as catering, transportation, and accommodations
- Oversee event setup and ensure all details are executed according to plan
- Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event
- Troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise during events
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution
Experience:
- Previous experience in event coordination or a related field (hospitality, catering, restaurant, banquet)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality events
- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques is a plus
