Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and implementing marketing strategies to promote our brand, attract new clients, and enhance our online and offline presence through strategic use of graphics, logos, and other promotional products. This role requires a combination of creativity, strong organizational skills, and a passion for the construction industry.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Gathers the materials necessary to understand the project and competition in the area such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; analyzes these materials to determine the most effective communications technique.
- Research and inquire about perspective project opportunities with clients, owners, Architects, Engineers, and other industry resources.
- Based on assessment, drafts and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.
- Presents design ideas and recommendations to manager.
- Organize, coordinate, and attend trade shows, industry events, conferences, and community fairs.
- Plan and execute company-hosted events to engage with clients, partners, and the community.
- Host quarterly pop-up lunches for clients.
- Maintain a consistent company brand, ensuring that everyone for all companies is using the same logos, business cards, and document templates that represent the current company image.
- Assist with recruiting events and hiring events for qualified applicants.
- Update and maintain MailChimp, marketing lists and all other marketing information.
- Request Google reviews and testimonials from clients for all companies.
- Order and maintain marketing items to hand out to clients for special events and recognition.
- Update company websites with content for featured projects, services and updates. Manage gallery of photos for websites and maintain new and current projects.
Sales:
- Research and inquire about prospective project opportunities with clients, owners, Architects, Engineers, and other industry resources.
- Follow up on estimated jobs to determine award status in a timely fashion.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and continue to build on those relationships.
- Provide management with forecasts of present and future work opportunities and conduct regular meetings to provide updates on construction opportunities.
- Join and attend sales and marketing type of organizations for potential opportunities.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.
- Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on follow-up with potential and current customers.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must be professional and polished in appearance and presentation.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of related experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.
- Sales and Marketing experience within the construction industry strongly preferred.
- Website maintenance and support for content change and presentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $44,357.05 - $53,419.25 per year
