Job Title: Laboratory Assistant
Reports To: Laboratory Supervisor
Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Laboratory Analyst and the HSSE Supervisor as required, specially conducting lab tests and helping with the cleanness and organization of the Laboratory. - Must have open availability. Hours are 6:30PM-5:00AM Monday through Thursday, but subject to change depending on company needs at the time. This is a 3rd shift position. Training will take place on 1st shift.

- Assist as required by the Laboratory Analyst specially with physicochemical analyzes in the laboratory, such as: potentiometric analysis, volumetric analysis, determination of peroxide, iodine, epoxy values, volatile, acidity, moisture, etc.
- Conduct analysis for quality control of raw materials, final product and production control.
- Responsible for filling accordingly the Technical/Analyses Reports if necessary.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness including glassware and laboratory equipment.

Essential Skills and Experience
- It is an entry level position
- 1 year or more of experience as a laboratory technician will be helpful but not mandatory
- Computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
