Duties and Responsibilities: EMT's at Tri-County Ambulance can expect to respond to both emergent and non-emergent calls that require BLS skills to complete transport. This requires general assessments of patients, communicating with other crew members, communicating with hospital systems, and providing care in a safe but time effective manner. EMT's will see a variety of call type including trauma, medical, geriatric, pediatric etc. This job requires moderate lifting and moving of patients throughout a shift and applicants should be aware of these responsibilities prior to applying. EMT's must drive the emergency vehicles on a daily basis and may be required to do so emergently. Training and continuing education are a requirement and are offered in house.
