Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
- Install and maintain wiring, control systems, and lighting fixtures.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, or components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Familiarity with power tools and electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) guidelines.
- Ability to renovate existing electrical systems or install new ones.
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools used in the electrical trade.
- Ability to work with both high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues.

Pay: $27.03 - $32.55 per hour
