Job Description
As a Senior Software Developer you will be responsible for the development, revision, deployment, and maintenance of innovative internal and external applications. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack developer who possesses excellent problem-solving abilities, thorough knowledge of software development methodologies, ability to self-manage projects, and be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment. This position will involve the following activities:
· Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to: NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
· Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.
· Perform requirement analysis to clarify scope of work and provide effort estimation
· Troubleshoot technical problems and performance/scalability issues on a day to day basis
· Execute unit tests and quality assurance of the web and software applications
· Prepare test-based applications for various .Net applications
· Make recommendations to improve software development methods
· Identify and resolve programming problems by following routine methods, established system development methodologies, and through the guidance of more senior software engineering staff
· Learn and employ knowledge of the business segment targeted by the software application
· Attend design review meetings to assist in identifying design issues and programming methods that will improve work productivity and product quality
· Write clean, concise and sustainable code
· Prepare for and assist with software deployments as needed
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering with 8+ years of experience
· Experience working in a .net environment
· Hands-on software development experience in C# with knowledge of Object Oriented Design
· Working knowledge of XML and XML parsers.
· Knowledge in web application frameworks
· Experience and/or interest in hand-coding web user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Should be able to produce standards-compliant multi-browser compatible user interfaces
· Good understanding of how web applications work including knowledge of the HTTP protocol, request/response cycles and session management
· Experience working in a .net environment
· Good communication skills and the ability to work directly with business users
· Knowledge of JSON, AJAX, JQuery and one or more widely used JavaScript libraries
· Experience in web user interface design and development

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
