Position: Assembly Operator I
About Us:
White River Energetics, LLC (WRE) is a newly formed and wholly owned subsidiary of D&M Holding. WRE's brand new, state of the art facility located in Des Arc, AR was built with the sole objective of manufacturing small arms ammunition primers. The process of manufacturing primers is an old and proven process. WRE is improving this proven process by implementing new equipment and automation to make the process safer and more precise.
Job Description:
The Assembly Operator will assemble, inspect, and package products according to specifications. This position will require high attention to detail and perform duties as required to ensure the highest quality primer is produced while adhering to proper safety protocol.
Core Duties:
- Assemble ammunition primers according to specifications
- Maintain equipment tolerances
- Orient primer cups
- Charge cups with primer mix
- Orient and set primer anvils
- Apply lacquer
- Inspect at different stages of the assembly process to maintain quality and consistency.
- Keep workstations clean and neat.
- Work in conjunction with quality control to ensure primers meet quality standards.
- Adhere to all WRE safety, production, and workforce policies.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience is desired, but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time.
- Candidate should be able to lift over 50 pounds occasionally, as required for handling materials and equipment.

All tasks will be performed in strict accordance with the WRE Safety and Health Guidelines and the applicable SOP/WI for the Explosive Technicians position.
Job Type: Full-time
