Industrial Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and practices to protect classified and sensitive information.
· Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
· Collaborate with government agencies, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with security regulations.
· Manage security clearance processes for employees, contractors, and visitors.
· Conduct security education and training programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance.
· Investigate and report security incidents, breaches, and violations.
· Maintain and update security documentation, including security plans, incident reports, and access control records.
· Stay current on industry trends, security threats, and best practices to continuously improve security measures.
Qualifications:
· Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial security or a related field.
· Knowledge of relevant security regulations, including NISPOM, FISMA, and other government security directives.
· Experience with security clearance processes and requirements.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
