Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team at Roxy & Jo's, a Quick Service Seafood Restaurant located in The Original Farmer's Market on 3rd and Fairfax. This is a 40 hours per week job, with hourly pay plus tips. Hourly pay will be commensurate with previous experience. You will oversee a FOH team of about 7 employees and assist the Kitchen Manager oversee a team of about 7 people as well, around 14 employees total.
As the Restaurant Manager/Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, scheduling the front of house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, ordering certain supplies and leading a team of dedicated staff members. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation (in conjunction with the kitchen Manager), service, and cleanliness
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels of the items you will be assigned to order.
- Train and supervise staff members to ensure they provide exceptional service
- Schedule and assign tasks to staff members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Proven track record in team management and leadership
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus
- Familiarity with seafood is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
We offer an hourly pay based on previous experience, plus tips that run from an additional $5-$12 per hour. A monthly parking pass for $110 will be covered by the company as well. We offer 10 day/80 hours vacation time and a company health plan. Additionally, we provide opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
