Fluency in professionally written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and English is required for the position. You will use both English and Mandarin Chinese in your daily work.
Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Write job postings for online teaching and other roles at Aralia.
- Utilize recruiting tools to search for and source job candidates.
- Post job openings using Indeed, LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Schedule and conduct interviews with candidates.
- Discuss compensation with candidates and send offer letters.
- Send out course reminders for all students
- Coordinate class schedules between students and tutors and schedule classes utilizing Aralia’s online platform
- Communicate with team members and families regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate, complete progress notes and other written records in accordance with company policies
- Assist in general administrative duties and perform other duties and special tasks as requested
Basic requirements:
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in English, Psychology, Business, or other related subject.
- 0 - 5 years of prior work experience.
- Ability to conduct detail-oriented tasks.
- Ability to multitask and perform with efficacy.
- Ability to communicate effectively via email.
- Ability to effectively build relationships and interact with other members of the team.
- Have strong communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Ability to speak confidently in English when interviewing job candidates
- The candidate should have a startup / growth business mindset and be looking to grow their personal skills in this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
