Qualifications Profile
1. Valid Idaho Teaching Certificate with K-8 Endorsment
2. At least Five (5) successful years of classroom teaching experience preferred.
3. Knowledge of Idaho Core specifically in ELA & Math Standards.
4. Ability to work with students, staff, parents, and the public.
5. Ability to demonstrate exemplary classroom teaching.
6. Skill in collaboration, research-based instructional strategies and the analysis of data to improve student success.
7. Comprehensive understanding of District and school improvement initiatives, including content area literacy, effective instruction, data driven decision making, and assessment practices.
8. Excellent computer skills, ability to use Google Suites and other programs and a knowledge of web-based curriculum.
9. Ability to train staff in the use of core, supplementary and intervention materials.
10. Demonstrate teacher leadership at the district and school level and facilitate professional development inside and outside the District.
11. Demonstrate knowledge of District and school systems, instructional management, and the use of instructional strategies.
12. Demonstrate ability to model skillful instructional practices and key elements of core content instruction.
13. Demonstrate skills in coaching strategies that improve teaching.
14. Demonstrate integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons.
15. Ability to work harmoniously with others.
16. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists in the disaggregation and interpretation of testing data and provides teachers with specific strategies to improve ELA and Math achievement.
