TriFly is searching for an experienced pilot to join our corporate aviation team at the Sioux Falls Regional Airport (KFSD). Our ideal candidate will be a team player providing exceptional service, attention to detail and safe efficient operations of TriFly aircraft.
- Maintain proficiency in TriFly aircraft
- Conduct flights in a safe and professional manner including:
- Pre/Post flight inspections
- Flight planning- weather, NOTAMS, weight and balance, routings, fuel requirements, airport suitability and operational information, FBOs
- Review aircraft maintenance status and report deficiencies
- Comply with Federal Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, TriFly Policies and Procedures
- Submit trip paperwork and expense reports in a timely manner
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment with strong proactive decision-making
- Represent TriFly as a professional with respectful attitude
- Keep up to date with industry changes and information (i.e.-aircraft, procedures)
- During trips- clean and restock aircraft, as needed
- Successfully complete initial, recurrent and enrichment training
- Lead and mentor fellow team members when appropriate and necessary
- Other duties as assigned.
- FAA Airline Transport or Commercial Pilot Certificate
- FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate
- Valid US Passport and Drivers License
- Ability to fulfill and comply with all entry requirements for international travel
- Part 91 Corporate flight experience (preferred)
- Experience in C208, King Air, Citation CJ series, G550, or similar (preferred)
- Tailwheel, Seaplane and/or other general aviation experience (preferred)
- Reside/relocate to Sioux Falls, SD or within suitable driving distance
- 2500 TT, 1500 PIC, 500 turbine (preferred)

- Working hours: required to work irregular work patterns and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Monthly flight hours and days per month vary. Additional time each month will be spent preparing for trips, special assignments/duties, and training.
- Travel: Most work will be done while traveling, including international. Frequent absence from home overnight while on assigned trips.
