POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll
- Enter and process payroll within ADP Workforce Now (weekly)
- Time off requests, 401k contribution/loan changes, special pays, adjustments/manual checks, etc.
- Create and maintain payroll schedules (severance, garnishments, FFCRA leaves)
- Enter new hires, terminations, leaves of absence
- General maintenance of employee records within ADP Workforce Now system
- Process Canadian Retirement contributions (biweekly)
Benefits
- Review invoices & update billing details (monthly)
- Process benefit forms and enter new enrollees/changes into benefits portals
- COBRA Management within online portal
- Create Benefit Packets & keep cubbies updated with all forms
Hiring and Onboarding
- Review resumes on Indeed, conduct phone screens, schedule potential candidates
- Enter backgrounds (and off-site drug screens only) through HireRight.
- Authorize drug screens through Concentra (Watertown employees only)
- Administer and process onboarding paperwork (I-9, tax forms, Emergency contact, direct deposit, benefits packet, etc.)
- Badges
Reporting
- Run Timecard Report every morning
- Download & run weekly 401k reports
- Update/maintain Benefits Census
- Daily Operations Attendance Report
Miscellaneous
- Assist with periodic audits (such as 401k 5500), and other regular projects (such as ACA, EEO-1 Surveys, etc.)
- Maintain bulletin boards
- Update with memos, birthday postings, service recognitions, monthly benefit postings, etc.
- Payroll and personnel filing and maintenance
- Employment Verifications
- Add/update all HR/Payroll/Benefits forms on “The Shed” Intranet for easy employee access
Other tasks and projects may be assigned as necessary.
