Full-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
Pediaprogress is a growing, diverse team of pediatric therapists, working in a collaborative environment to support children to reach their potential. Our team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists provide evaluations and therapy for children ages birth to 18 years. We are proud to be credentialed by the State of Illinois Early Intervention program and provide in-home therapy, near our office or near the therapists’ homes. We are seeking an occupational therapist with a joy for working with children to join our exceptional team. OT Position Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited university
- Current Illinois OT license
- Illinois Early Intervention credential required (or willing to obtain)
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand on feet for many hours
OT Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy and evaluations and provide detailed written reports
- Schedule and plan individualized treatment sessions for children
- Provide evaluations / treatment in our facility and/or in children's homes
- Discuss progress with caregivers and offer suggestions for carryover at home
- Create and update treatment plans with detailed goals and benchmarks
- Attend and contribute to team meetings
- Maintain expected productivity
- Collaborate with team and community
