o Plan, develop, and execute lesson plans for each class.
o Evaluate and report student progress.

o Deal with each infraction on the spot and at the lowest level possible.
o Counsel cadets on any negative disciplinary conduct.
o Report any unusual or potentially dangerous activity to the appropriate personnel.
o Act as the academic, military, and personal advisor to all cadets assigned as advisees.
o Develop a meaningful relationship inside and out of the classroom with all advisees. This included visiting cadets periodically in their rooms or other venues that are not structured.
o Lead by example as an appropriate role model wearing the uniform properly, speaking and dealing with cadets in a reasoned, controlled manner, and remaining consistent.
o Maintain contact with advisee parents on a regular basis (at least twice a month) by phone or e-mail.
o Maintain more frequent contact with parents of students not performing to standard to ensure parents are involved in the process and supportive of the school’s actions.
o Provide information to the Director of School Communications concerning positive cadet achievements, interesting human interest stories, and other newsworthy items.
o Coach and/or supervise two sports/activities/clubs during the academic year. o Serve as a study hall supervisor one night a week as assigned by the Dean of Academics o Assist with activity period if not actively coaching a sport.
