Overview: As an Account Manager at CCTA, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and ensuring the efficient delivery of accounting services. You will be responsible for handling client communication, overseeing bookkeeping tasks, conducting audits of financial records, and managing special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs, goals, and concerns.
- Provide timely updates on project status, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Bookkeeping:
- Oversee the bookkeeping process for assigned clients, including data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in client financial statements.
- Auditing of Books:
- Conduct audits of client financial records to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform analytical procedures to assess the reasonableness of financial transactions and balances.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Special Projects:
- Lead and participate in special projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, and financial analysis initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are completed within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing valuable insights and advice.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions to address challenges or opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services to existing clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work with QuickBooks Online.
