LOCATION: Headquarters - Las Vegas, NV, 89149
BASE COMPENSATION: $20-30/hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Who we are
- Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) is a high-impact nonprofit advocacy organization with an important purpose, clear mission, strong values, and transparent core beliefs that fights forward to create a world of maximal individual liberty primarily through litigation and culture (though we also engage in lobbying and other programs)
- We founded FPC Law (FPCLaw.org), the nation’s preeminent legal action program focused on the right to keep and bear arms and adjacent rights
What you’ll do
- Reliability and cheerfully provide administrative support to a functional team, performing regular/recurring and one-time administrative tasks as needed
- Timely collect, review, analyze, and communicate data with precision
- Prepare error-free reports, charts, budgets, and other presentation materials utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, or specialized software
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and track action items and tasks through to completion
- Thoughtfully coordinate between functions, executives, external partners, and others
- Schedules and coordinates meetings, travel, and other individual and group activities
- Manage expense reporting, invoicing, office supply inventory, or other routine processes
- Screens and responds to or routes inquiries from external or internal sources with appropriate correspondence or other messaging
- Meticulously organize and maintain files, databases, CRMs, and archives of relevant records
- Work with colleagues and contractors to improve processes and systems
- Handle confidential information with discretion, maintaining strict confidentiality
- Perform other duties and manage projects as assigned
Requirements
- Have alignment with and support for FPC’s Purpose, Core Beliefs, Current Mission, Ethic, and Expectations
- Be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must reside in the Las Vegas area prior to start of work
- Have a degree in business, communications, English, journalism, or another relevant field from an accredited U.S. school
- Have at least 2-5 years of administrative support experience in a professional office setting supporting a team, department or group
- Have excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills (fluent in U.S. English),
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to handle conflict and work well under pressure, a commitment to teamwork, empathy, listening, and a positive attitude
- Have excellent attention to detail, comprehension, analysis, and writing skills
- Have excellent processing, organizational, and work management skills
- Have excellent judgment and the ability to independently frame appropriate responses

Preferences
- Experience in a law firm setting or with digital marketing operations and systems
- Experience with help desk / ticketing systems (HelpScout, etc.)
