Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our team. As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education curriculum that promotes physical fitness, health, and overall well-being among students. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for physical activity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging physical education lessons that align with curriculum standards
- Teach students various sports, games, and fitness activities
- Promote the importance of regular exercise and healthy lifestyle choices
- Provide instruction on proper techniques, rules, and safety precautions for different physical activities
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into interdisciplinary lessons
- Organize and supervise extracurricular sports teams and events
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification in Physical Education
- Previous experience teaching physical education at the elementary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge of physical fitness concepts, sports rules, and safety guidelines
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among students
