Las Vegas Radiology is seeking a full-time, experienced Scheduler. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, with the ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail. This position answers a high volume of calls and a successful candidate will be skilled at communicating with both internal and external customers. The Scheduler will also be able to troubleshoot in order to provide highly professional customer service to patients and referring providers.
The Scheduler is responsible for communicating with patients, physicians, technologists, and management. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling radiology exams in a timely manner
- Communicating instructions and preparing patients for scheduled exams
- Filling gaps in the schedule
- Answering calls
- Verifying referrals
Key capabilities to be successful in this role:
- Excellent verbal skills and phone etiquette
- Computer knowledge
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of most radiology procedures with at least one (1) year of scheduling experience
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes
- Knowledge of medical terminology
