Job description:
Immediate opening for busy Orthopedic /Sports Medicine practice is seeking a X-Ray Technologist .
Candidates must possess strong organization and management skills and be able to coordinate and track a variety of details while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for carrying out x-ray procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Helps prepare patients for x-ray and reports results on necessary forms.
- Checks x-ray supplies and maintains equipment to the best of his/her ability.
- Advises supervisor and medical staff of any problems with x-ray procedures, efficiency, safety, and overall service
- Track records of all x-rays taken daily
- Track monthly graphs of patient count
- Other duties as instructed by the office manager/physicians
Education, Training, Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Completion of an accredited Radiology program
·Current X-Ray Tech certification in Louisiana
Supervisory Relationship
· Reports to the Office Manager and the CEO

Typical Physical Demands Position requires prolonged sitting and standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
