We are an outpatient Imaging Company that is seeking an Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform the following duties;
Perform high quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT exams on incoming patients.
· Assure proper doses and radionuclides are ordered for each day.
· Assay dose so that the radionuclide is correct and matches procedure.
· Administer radionuclide in a safe and effective manner.
· Monitor patient's well being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
· Guide patients through the exam and answer any questions the patient may ask regarding the exam that is being performed.
· Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
· Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
We're looking for experienced and professional candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient nuclear medicine and PET/CT exams and procedures with high quality results. ARRT(N) certification (or NMTCB certification), CA State License in nuclear medicine, PLUS VENIPUNCTURE, CPR certification, at least 1 year of recent nuclear medicine work experience, and great communication skills are also a must! Experience and licenses for Computed Tomography (ARRT & CA State License in Radiography) are a plus!
