Automann services its distributors out of (4) US Distribution centers; Monroe Township NJ (HQ), New Lennox IL, Duncanville TX and Ontario CA and (2) distribution centers in Canada: Brampton ON and Edmonton AB.
Summary
We have an immediate need for an Information Technology Associate who will work with our multi-location I.T. team on various technology projects and also support other I.T. staff and end-users. You would be the primary I.T. resource at our Texas location, reporting to the I.T. Director in New Jersey, but with a dotted line to the Operations Manager in Texas.
This position is located at our facility in Duncanville Texas (you should live within a 45-minute commute). Working on-site is required (this is not a remote position). You would also be required to travel on occasion to our other USA locations in California, Illinois and our HQ in Monroe Township New Jersey; along with Brampton Ontario and Edmonton Alberta Canada. Must also be willing to work occasional weekends or late-nights [typically for installing updates] as required.
Responsibilities
Virtually meet with members of the IT Team to discuss project goals and general requirements.
Assist with management and support of the following:
· Tier I and II Help Desk Tickets
· Office and warehouse end-users who utilize Windows 10/11 and desktop applications including Office 2016/2019/2021, Office 365, Remote Desktop, 3D/CAD installation/configuration, and other tools
· Warehouse end-users utilizing Honeywell Dolphin CK65’s and other handheld scanners
· Printers, toners, print heads, drums and label software
· The Corporate ERP system Epicor Prophet 21; When unsure of issue or solution, open support tickets with Epicor and follow through on solution
· Full stack Meraki firewall/router, SD-WAN, VPN’s, switches, wireless access points, DNS/DHCP servers
· Active Directory, domain management, user accounts, authentication and authorization using Organizational Units and Global Policies
· Security systems including Video Surveillance and Door Access Management
· Acropolis/Nutanix Host Servers and virtual servers running Windows Server 2022, Exchange 2019, SQL Server 2019 and SharePoint 365
· Other duties and projects as assigned by Manager
Qualifications
· You must be able to troubleshoot end-user desktop, network and server and ERP issues
· Understand how to setup, configure and administer Windows 10/11 computers and Windows Server 2022 is a must
· 2 years ERP System experience preferred
· Strong knowledge of various Windows Server/Desktop and Network systems
· Ability to operate a wide variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office
· Familiarity with network administration practices i.e. IP Addressing, IP Subnets, VLANs, VPNs, client monitoring
· Must be a self-starter, have good time management skills, have strong organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and on a team, and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Preferred but not Required
· EDI/Electronic Data Interchange mapping functions and troubleshooting steps
· Ability to read and edit existing SQL; ability to create new SQL to create custom reports from ERP database
· Ability to publish/edit reports using Microsoft SSRS and Crystal Reports
· Experience with HighJump Wireless Warehouse Management System
· Knowledge or experience with Cybersecurity best practices
· Hands-on experience with Meraki dashboard/network management tools Experience with warehouse management
