Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Clerical Assistant for our private lake association. This pivotal role involves providing exceptional customer service to our members, handling inquiries, managing access to the lake, overseeing boat decal sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk during mostly evening and weekend hours. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and perform various clerical tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly.
- Process boat decal sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Verify client identity and manage access to our lake according to established protocols.
- Exercise discretion and tact when addressing challenging situations, potentially having to refuse service in accordance with association policies.
- Maintain organized records and databases using Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.
- Collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure seamless operations.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files.
- Assist in managing office supplies inventory
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, photocopying, and scanning
- Support office management with daily tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact.
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
