Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and managing kitchen staff.
Duties:
- Manage and lead kitchen staff in daily operations
- Plan and create innovative menus while maintaining high-quality standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Monitor and control food costs and maintain proper inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal offerings and specials
- Train and develop kitchen staff on proper techniques and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in the food industry
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen management, food production, and inventory control
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
- Certification in food safety and sanitation practices
