The Pre-Sale Manager is the primary day-to-day contact for our new location managers and is responsible for managing the execution of the new clubs during pre-sale. The Pre-Sale Manager will be on the ground with the local staff and drive all system initiatives at the local level to maximize system marketing efforts, enhance brand awareness, implement promotions that increase customer traffic and build membership sales.
The Pre-Sale Manager will work closely with General Managers, the Marketing team and team members to generate leads prior to the start of presale and will be directly responsible for ensuring business goals are met through successful implementation of the strategic local ground game. The Pre-Sale Manager will also support local clubs during the weeks following the opening and continue to be a resource for on-going training of local membership team.
Essential Functions
- Plan, execute, and manage local pre-sale plans for owned locations.
- Maximize system marketing efforts, enhance brand awareness, and implement promotions that increase leads for opening day.
- Work with the local team to effectively communicate what CRUNCH is and how we are different from competitors.
- Manage and track budgets; forecast and compile reporting metrics for each specific program. Measure each project against goals and follow-through to completion both on time and within budget.
- Develop a deep understanding of the local lead generation initiative and communicate corporate strategies to local management team while maintaining compliance to brand standards.
- Execute on event strategy, tactical plans, and project manage from beginning to end including all logistics, onsite execution, and post event analysis.
- Analyze performance of pre-sale plans; develop strategies to measure and track effectiveness and implement strategies for underperforming campaigns and activities.
- Drive new location opening sales performance by creating plans or implementing existing plans to build awareness and drive traffic through grass root and digital channels.
- Guide and ensure consistency of corporate and brand message throughout each pre-sale initiative.
- Working closely with Marketing Director to implement digital and grass root marketing strategies
Primary Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Create and manage the local social media strategy content during pre-sale
- Manage the monitoring and analytics and results and create monthly reports
- Create and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of local ground game and outreach during pre-sale initiative.
- Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of pre-sale initiative in an effort to maximize results
- Support both Public Relations and Events & Partnerships teams with social media strategies
- Support Member Services team to monitor business review sites, engage with members and own the reputation management strategy during the presale phases.
- Monitor and provide guidance, best practices and brand guidelines for franchise locations
- Train new staff on ABC and VFP system
- Establish ground game plan and monitor its effectiveness to drive leads daily.
Responsibilities Outside of Pre-Sale Season
- Create and maintain an effective on ground marketing game for mature franchised owned clubs
- Develop a deep understanding of the local lead generation initiative and communicate corporate strategies to local management team while maintaining compliance to brand standards.
- Execute on event strategy, tactical plans, and project manage from beginning to end including all logistics, onsite execution, and post event analysis.
- Coordinate with SLT on responsibilities and expectations on generating lead production in mature clubs.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree marketing/advertising or related degree is required.
- At least five (5) years’ experience in consumer marketing, advertising, retail, hospitality,
- Sales background is a plus.
- Experience with training local membership teams on the use of ABC and VFP
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Personal passion for health and fitness is a plus.
- Strong financial acumen with an ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
