Dishwasher Job Description:
Duties:
- Clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment using the dishwasher or by hand
- Ensure all dishes are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas
- Assist with food preparation and food service as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is a plus
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from supervisors
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
