CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
Local, family-owned and operated Termite and Pest Control company seeking a friendly, reliable, trustworthy and organized Customer Service Specialist to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
Responsibilities:
- Open the office daily at 7:45 am
- Provide excellent customer service over the phone
- Answer inbound telephone calls and use 2-way radio
- Enter daily production into Pestpac software system
- Draft and e-mail correspondences and other formal documents
- Dispatch and schedule appointments for technicians
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PestPac
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and companies
- Effectively communicate with other team members and customers over the phone
- Some telephone sales
- Interest in our particular industry, such as learning about all of the different termite and pest control chemicals, treatments, warranties, renewals, etc.
- Other office tasks such as copying, scanning, making files, using postage meter, stuffing envelopes, etc.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in office administration (pest control or construction/subcontractor preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Access, Outlook and PestPac software
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy, hectic environment while staying focused and calm
- Ability to take direction and willingness to be a team player
- Ability to work independently if needed
- Eligible penmanship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong typing skills (at least 50 wpm)
- Eagerness to learn and accept constructive criticism
- Spanish speaking (Bilingual) is a definite bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
