The Speech-Language Pathologist is a member of Carter Healthcare's Home Health team who provides rehabilitation care to the clients as requested by the client and, when required, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the policies of the Agency.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will be assigned in a manner that promotes Carter Healthcare's quality, continuity and safety of a client’s care.

Qualifications:
- Possesses a degree which includes an internship from an approved master's program in Speech Language Pathology, or as required by applicable law and/or regulation.
- Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Certified to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health. Has presented a preemployment screening including a negative TB skin test and/or CXR and other tests as required by the Agency.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
- Has excellent observation, good clinical judgment, and good oral and written communication skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision; has good organizational skills.
