Human Resources/Administrative Assistant

We are expanding our company in South Florida and looking for dedicated long-term employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with managers to ensure successful selection and onboarding of top talent
· Plan and conduct new employee orientation and training sessions.
· Partner with management to implement and execute HR-related projects.
· Serve as a liaison between property staff and corporate office
· Create customized staff handbooks in verifying information, ensuring policy compliance, and reviewing for grammatical and formatting errors
· Research various policies, laws, best practices, and other HR compliance topics
· Help create and/or customize policies, forms, checklists, guides, and other documents
· Edit documents extensively for flow, formatting, grammar, and errors
· Sending invoices and account updates to the corporate office
· Addressing and resolving tenant questions and issues relating to accounting
· Provide regular and accurate billing data to the corporate office
· Overseeing the billing process for the FL portfolio
· Mailing out security deposit checks to tenants after moving out
· Completing security deposit refunds in the online software and sending to the corporate office
· Report on delinquent accounts
· Work with property managers on collection matters
· Resolve payment discrepancies
· Oversee and manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in billing, verifications, audits, collections, and reporting.
· Develop and implement policies and procedures related to accounts receivable to improve the overall effectiveness of the function.
· Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and take appropriate actions for collections.
· Prepare reports and analysis on accounts receivable metrics, work order utilization, open invoices, and other reporting as needed.
· Participate in financial audits and provide necessary supporting documentation.
· Work with internal departments to resolve account issues
· Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned
