Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer, you will gain experience on Agile development and UX design on low-code and no-code platforms. Coordinate with client-facing delivery managers and other consultants to deploy digital transformation applications. Help translate their manufacturing and business requirements into a detailed design by crafting architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation best practices.
To begin your new career, you will participate in a 3-month training program introducing you to different aspects of Digital Transformation:
Machine Connectivity – You will learn what valuable data resides in production equipment, how to find it, extract it, and normalize it for use by different Smart Manufacturing systems.
Smart Manufacturing – You will learn how systems are used in manufacturing plants to manage Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Inventory activities.
Data Analytics – You will learn how to use analytics tools to provide reports that aid critical manufacturing and business decisions.
Production Scheduling – You will learn how advanced software tools model production plants to optimize the use of resources to complete orders on time.
Supply Chain Management – You will learn how to use advanced software to optimize Demand, Inventory, and Supply planning.
- Design and deploy data integration models using data from ERP, MES, and automation systems
- Deliver or assist with system testing and implementation
- Map business processes and translate into technology requirements
- Support deployed solutions across installed base
- Provide training and change management to ensure adoption and business results
- Create proposals and scope documents for new projects
- Participate in pre-sales activities and end-to-end solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, go-live activities, and ongoing support
- Analyze and define business processes to solve business problems and achieve strategic goals
- Conduct requirements and training workshops
- Contribute to defining business and technical requirements
- Review and edit system and design documentation
- Give input for estimates, statements of work, and scope documents for new projects
- Recommend project timelines and success criteria
- Collaborate with engineers to create functional requirements documents
- Provide input to engineers as they produce technical design documents

What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, manufacturing systems, or related technical field
- Minimum three (3) years experience working in a manufacturing plant.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, manufacturing systems, and applications integration.
- Programming, database design, and data integration skills
- Knowledgeable in business process solution design
- Enthusiasm for applying digital transformation and smart manufacturing technology to solve business problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
