Illinois Early Intervention Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist and Illinois Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Reports to: Director of Operations & Clinical Director
Required Qualifications:
- A person licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant under the Illinois Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Practice Act (225 ILCS 110).
- Illinois Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathology or Illinois Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Credential.
- ICG can assist with the Illinois Early Intervention credential process.
General Description of Job:
To provide medically prescribed, home health Speech-Language Pathology services, including assessments and treatments for children ages birth to three participating in the Illinois Early Intervention Program. Early Intervention assessments and treatments are provided with the physician’s Plan of Care, company policies, and professional standards of practice to improve the quality of life.
Positions Available:
· Full-Time: Minimum 60 billable hours per pay period (2 weeks); Benefits: Medical/Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401(k), Malpractice/Liability Insurance, Continuing Education.
· Part-Time: Minimum 10 billable hours per pay period (2 weeks); Benefits: Malpractice/Liability Insurance, Continuing Education.
· Independent Contractor (1099): Benefits: Continuing Education.
Technical / Professional Skills:
· Current knowledge of principles and practices of Speech-Language Pathology.
· Knowledge of client teaching techniques.
· Knowledge of the home care industry.
Job Duties:
· Perform Speech-Language Pathology evaluations and treatments under the direction of the physician.
· Assess the function and effectiveness of the Plan of Care and contact the physician to modify the plan as necessary.
· Maintain and update client clinical records as required to assure compliance with company policies, state/federal regulations, and professional standards of practice.
· Provide case coordination by communicating with team members verbally and in writing to ensure quality care and client satisfaction.
· Participate in meetings, care conferences, and education to ensure quality of care.
Therapists are needed in the following counties throughout Illinois. Therapists are assigned to specific counties based on their home address.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
