DataMerj, Inc. is currently hiring Production Technicians to join our growing business!
Production Technicians will be asked to prep and scan original files. They will also be asked to perform clean-up, data entry/indexing, and quality assurance on scanned documents. A Production Technician’s primary responsibility is always to produce a work product with the highest standards of quality and accuracy. A candidate for this position must be able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a highly confidential and regulated environment. Candidates must also be able to perform under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will have opportunity for advancement/increased responsibilities with demonstrated initiative. Depending upon client project requirements, or as directed by management, cell phone use or possession may be prohibited in certain areas or while performing the functions of this position. Candidates must undergo a 7 year federal, state, and local criminal background check.
Bi-weekly Pay Schedule
NOTE: ONLY CANDIDATES WHO COMPLETE THE INDEED ASSESSMENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF THE HIRING PROCESS.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparing Documents for Scanning. Includes removing binding elements, locating and moving obstructions to pages, optimizing pages for capture process, and correctly organizing the files for scanning (based on instruction).
- Scanning Original Documents and Operating Equipment. Includes operating and maintaining equipment and capture software, feeding documents, and reviewing images for quality.
- Data Entry (Indexing). Includes alpha/numeric typing and/or capturing of required data (based on instruction).
- Document Clean Up. Includes deleting blank pages that were missed during processing and rotating pages to ensure correct orientation, if required. In some cases, reordering pages will also be required.
- Quality Assurance (QA). Includes checking images and data for quality and accuracy. Quality assurance is performed to ensure capture of all pages and quality of scanned images. QA is also performed to ensure the accuracy of indexing/data entry.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
