Connect the Dots is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our special team of pediatric professionals. We serve children from birth to 18 years of age with a wide variety of needs. Our therapists thrive in helping children and their families at challenging times in their lives.
Job Description:
Responsible for providing safe and effective play-based Occupational Therapy through appropriate evaluation, treatment and education to meet the goals of the child and family.
Works with the family to plan and implement one-to-one treatment according to the Plan of Care.
Collaborate with other team members.
Accurately document evaluations, daily notes and progress reports.
Adhere to established rules, regulations and laws.
Work cooperatively with families and fellow staff members with the goal of improving the lives of clients and their families.
Key Skills and Attributes
Ability to gather information from a variety of sources.
Able to be prepared to start and end sessions on time and with a plan of treatment.
Exhibit excellent time management skills.
Communicate clearly with various parties.
Ability to complete session documentation within required time frames.
Experience working with children with Autism, Sensory Integration and Feeding deficiencies a plus.
Bilingual Skills a plus.
