Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support professional to join our team. As an IT Support, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and resolving any IT-related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up user accounts and permissions
- Respond to user inquiries and provide guidance on IT-related matters
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Assist in the management of firewalls and security measures
- Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT support
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a help desk or customer service environment
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and operating systems (Windows)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Experience with software troubleshooting and basic understanding of programming languages is a plus
- Knowledge of Jira or other project management tools is a plus
