Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team. Responsibilities include using surveying equipment to determine property lines, conducting research on property titles and records, recording accurate property lines with authorities, and performing office tasks like deed research and AutoCAD mapping. Conduct routine calculations, provide professional representation, perform boundary calculations and analysis, and prepare legal documents. Must have a valid surveyor's license and proficiency in surveying techniques and AutoCAD software.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on property titles, survey records, and land records.
- Record accurate property lines with local land use authorities.
- Perform office tasks including deed research and AutoCAD mapping.
- Conduct routine calculations like transverse and lot closures.
- Represent the firm professionally to clients, contractors, and the public.
- Perform boundary calculations, analysis, and field support calculations.
- Conduct research and analysis on title reports, ROW/E, Land Title Surveys, topography, and mapping.
- Prepare easements, plats, and surveys.
- Ensure completion and signing of project legal documents.
Requirements:
- 5 years or more experience in surveying.
- Illinois Survey license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
