Centrifuge Technician/Mechanic
Looking for someone that is a team player, self-starter, dependable, able to communicate as a team, fill out daily logs, have a valid driver's license, and a great work ethic!
Tools will be provided to technician/mechanic.
*Willing to train person with competent mechanical background*
Individual must be able to work with minimal supervision in disassembly, inspection, testing and re-assembly of centrifuge decanters (all makes and models), vertical centrifuges, gearboxes, pumps, and similar industrial equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS - to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements following are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints, read micrometers, possess mathematical abilities and basic computer skills.
- Assemble machines according to instructions and specifications.
- Align components, lay out components in order to put them together correctly according to blueprints and technical plans.
- Resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Identify, report and repair equipment damage and malfunctions; communicate with other techs and parts manager to obtain repair and replacement components.
- Fasten components together according to blueprints and technical plans in order to create subassemblies or finished products.
- Welding skills and working with other hot works.
- Working primarily within the ethanol/oil industry and occasional travel may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
