Description:
The dynamic real estate law firm of Brewer Offord & Pedersen LLP is in search of qualified applicants for a newly-recreated associate real estate attorney position. Top applicants for this position will be smart and independent self-starters with relevant experience in litigation and real property law. The associate attorney will work together with our existing team of attorneys and professional staff to provide outstanding legal services to the firm's expanding base of clients throughout California. As a contributing member for our firm, the associate attorney will have the opportunity to develop her or his own particular expertise and clientele, while also working on future and existing matters of the firm.

Duties
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Represent clients in litigation matters
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on case strategy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Experience in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
- Proficiency in using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other legal research tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
