CPA Financial Architects is an Independently owned firm located in Henderson, NV in need of a proactive, self-motivated, and personable individual to manage our client tax side of the business. As we are a small, yet well-established, and growing firm, this position requires someone who is extremely flexible and who has a desire to grow with the company. This position will require management and review of tax returns prepared by other staff as a 'Tax Manager'.
This position is mainly responsible for analyzing, filing, and submitting client’s tax returns. This includes regular, consistent, and timely communication with clients to advise, clarify, and follow-up on their returns. Reliability, professionalism, and courtesy are core values we adhere to while providing the top-tier service for which our firm is known.
This is a full-time, on-site, 9 am to 5 pm position - more like 12 hours during busy seasons. However, hours are somewhat flexible.
A successful Tax Manager will be capable of:
- Reviewing business and personal returns of Staff Accountants
- Preparing client tax returns.
- Ensuring tax forms are accurate and complete while maximizing outcome for the clients.
- Setting up, and participating in, client meetings.
- Reviewing and answering clients’ and tax authority’s emails and phone calls.
- Advising clients on future tax planning strategies.
- Securing repeat business and expanding our client base.
- Providing top-tier customer service, in a consistent and timely manner.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and review individual and business tax returns - Analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations - Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients - Assist with tax research and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations - Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer any tax-related questions - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction - Maintain client records and documentation in an organized manner Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting - Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and financial concepts - Proficiency in tax software, such as Sage or similar programs - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
