WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The ideal Sales Manager for Bear Creek will increase group and F&B revenue by securing primarily corporate groups and programs at the resort. With the position able to be largely remote from the resort with on-site requirements, the perfect sales manager will be highly organized, a strong self-starter and very detail oriented. As this position is a critical member of the Sales team, focusing on developing corporate connections and generating new business while establishing strong on‑property relationships is essential. The right person will partner with various departments across the resort to ensure the client has an exceptional experience.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Actively prospect & qualify new business within corporate market.
- Arrange and conduct site inspections and off-site presentations for potential clients.
- Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner.
- Meet outside sales call and sales goals.
- Participate in appropriate organizations, networking events and attend trade shows per market segment.
- Negotiate all meeting space, catering, guest room rates and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
- Accurately produce necessary sales contracts, and rate agreements.
- Compose necessary planning documents such as group resumes, BEO's as appropriate, and effectively communicate to the conference services or operations departments as required.
- Follow up with client to ensure the experience met/exceeded expectations after group departure.
- Establish proper billing details in partnership with accounting and utilize Sertifi for group deposits and payments as required.
- Enter detailed information in Delphi/Salesforce on appointments, calls, activities, etc. as required and complete weekly work summaries to the Director of Sales
- Ability to travel as needed to locations to meet with potential clients to conduct in-person sales calls.
- Ability to work remotely with on-site requirements as dictated by the resort General Manager and/or Director of Sales and to be a minimum of five (5) days per month and potentially more as required.

- Acknowledge all guests and respond promptly to their needs, however busy and whatever time of day. Ensure unresolved incidents are reported to Manager/Supervisor
- Familiarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Contribute to the team's success by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed.
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
- Work as a team member to ensure our guests have the best possible experience.
- Understand emergency procedures and be able to apply them when necessary.
- Report any incidents, property damage or injuries immediately to Manager/Supervisor
- Attend department meetings and training sessions, as necessary.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years demonstrated sales experience, preferably in a hospitality or food and beverage environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in relevant field preferred
- Availability during peak operating times, i.e.: weekends, holidays, and special events.
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Advanced knowledge of hotel\resort banquet and rooms sales processes
- Salesforce/Delphi knowledge and first-hand experience is an essential requirement.
