Bartender

Needs to know current mixology trends and experience in craft cocktails
Creativity for cocktails is a must
Adheres to company standards of service
Prepares bar for service, cutting garnishes, stocking bottles, cleaning and sanitizing bar top
Prepares cocktails in service well and for patrons
Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Assists patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions.
Transmits orders to kitchen by recording patrons' selections; identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests.
Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
Maintains bar by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return.
Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and obtaining payment; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Server Assistant (busser)

Primary responsibility of a Server Assistant is to reset tables in a quickly professional and effective manner, as guests leave the restaurant. Properly serve food and beverages while also clearing, cleaning and resetting table for the next guests.
Assistants are also responsible for grooming the entire restaurant and its perimeters, as well as supporting servers and service staff with refills and clearing tables.
Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest’s request to server immediately.
Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and professional appearance.
Positive attitude and good communication skills.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs., or more.
