A Licensed Behavior Analyst as a master's level behavior analyst, is what we are seeking. Applicants should include professional Board-Certified Behavior Analysts who will be licensed eligible within the state of Missouri, with sound fundamental and collaborative skills, the ability to assess and implement system changes, teach and explain behavioral processes and procedures in technically sound and person friendly ways, and social intelligence paired with interpersonal skills are a must.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis and modification principles, theories, and techniques. Knowledge of mental illness and/or developmental disabilities and their effect on individual cognitive and behavioral functioning. Ability to assess and interpret behaviors and data. In addition, the position requires excellent leadership and management skills; advanced verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage complex projects; ability to build and maintain strong, positive working relationships, ability to problem solve and resolve complex issues; skill in the analysis and interpretation of information and data to evaluate performance and inform business decisions; and ability to present information in a clear and concise matter.
License to practice as a Behavior Analyst. Experienced in provision of behavior analysis services serving individuals with developmental disabilities and dual diagnosis of developmental disabilities and mental illness. BCBA and licensed eligible in the state of Missouri. Licensure will be required at the time employment begins.
This position will function as the Area Behavior Analyst for the western Missouri region. The goals of the position are to work as a team member designing and improving the behavior services system and developing a public health type model to prevent and identify risk and interventions for behavioral crisis. Position will work with service teams in both the State and private sectors to improve the Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities service delivery system, building capacity of behavior analysis best practices throughout Missouri. The position will contribute to service systems improvements in a variety of settings including private and state operated community based homes, and collaborate with the crisis services provided by state operated habilitation centers. Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities provides services throughout Missouri for people with the challenges of developmental disabilities, dual diagnosis of developmental disabilities and mental illness, and a range of complex medical and forensics issues. The Regional Behavior Analyst role provides leadership and collaborates to develop capacity of services, improve behavior services throughout the state, and develops effective prevention and intervention technologies-including training, assessment, implementation, and implementation oversight.
