TITLE: Salesforce Administrator/Junior Developer

We are looking for a candidate with a strong Salesforce background, particularly someone who has worked within a non-sales-focused organization. The chosen individual will be integral to our Member Relations team, taking charge of Salesforce for all users. This role involves both administrative and developmental support for Salesforce within a service-oriented company.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and resolve issues in collaboration with the project team to ensure applications meet the needs of end users and adapt to changes in company operations, policies, and procedures.
- Handle the day-to-day administration and support of the Salesforce database. This includes managing user accounts, setting up profiles and roles, and customizing objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations.
- Design and generate customized reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with project teams and management to discuss strategic plans and analyze metrics.
- Engage with end-users to collect requirements, creating and managing complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
- Stay updated on new Salesforce features and functionalities, recommending improvements to processes.
- Document application requirements by collaborating with IT staff, support vendors, and external consultants to enhance program development.
- Engage in the software testing phase, including devising test plans, creating test cases, and overseeing the software testing.
- Record and monitor system issues until resolution, coordinating with project managers and business analysts as necessary.
- Train both new and existing users on Salesforce usage.
- Communicate system functionality and updates to application users.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external application users.
- Provide guidance on Lightning and Aura web components, as well as Apex classes with comprehensive test code coverage.
- Develop and maintain user guides, process documentation, policies, application configurations, and help-related materials.
- Support the development of technical documentation for current and future applications.
- Innovate by creating automated features and flows within communities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator and Developer, specifically within the Lightning environment.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification is desirable. Proficiency in creating Salesforce workflows, processes, and rules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Capability to create custom Salesforce objects and use Salesforce tools for data migration.
- Excellent communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong commitment to resolving issues and offering solutions.- Skilled in creating Salesforce reports and aiding business users in report creation.
- Holding a Salesforce Certified Administrator and Advanced Administrator certification is required
- Ability to troubleshoot end-user issues and provide clear, actionable steps for resolution.
- Experience in offering Salesforce technical support and training.
