Scope and Purpose:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager (PM) to play a critical role in planning, executing, and overseeing projects within the Enrollment Technology organization at our Houston Corporate office. The PM will lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure successful project delivery according to scope and quality standards. Reporting to senior management, the PM will drive project success while fostering collaboration and communication among team members and stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.

Execute projects according to established methodologies, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.

Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Support team members in overcoming challenges and achieving project goals.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project success. And escalate significant risks or issues to senior management as needed.

Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and skill sets to optimize team performance.

Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations. Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary to address deficiencies.

Facilitate clear and transparent communication among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.

Prepare and present regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders.

Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, assessing impacts and obtaining necessary approvals.

Implement change control processes to ensure changes are properly documented and communicated.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the project management function. Share lessons learned and best practices with project teams to drive continuous improvement and organizational excellence.

Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.

At least 5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Proficiency in some project management software.

Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.

Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
