OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a full-time Pet Care Assistant Manager with excellent front desk/receptionist communication skills with the ability to multitask and accept feedback.
This job is NOT a position in which you will only be on the phone and sitting behind a desk. This is a very physically active position that requires pet care duties and you will be on your feet the majority of the time. You will be exposed to excessive noise, unpleasant odors, airborne fur particles, feces, and urine. If you are not willing or capable of performing these duties, DO NOT APPLY.

RESPONSIBILITES:
- Clean and disinfect saliva, urine, feces, vomit, and hair on a consistent basis left by all dogs and cats occupying the facility.
- Interact with clients in person, by telephone, and answering questions regarding pet grooming, boarding, and daycare services.
- Train, coach, mentor, and motivate team members
- Generate weekly employee schedules
- Generate daily sales spreadsheets
- Order office supplies and provide inventory control system
- Monitor company emails and provide daily updates
- Conduct new hire orientation to include new hire paperwork, I-9, drug testing, company policy review, etc.
- Will learn payroll process and serve as a backup when needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with cleaning procedures and standards according to policy.
- All other pet care/front desk/administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BILINGUAL IS A MUST – fluently speak Spanish and English
- Must be physically fit and have a strong desire and ambition to work and handle animals of all sizes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email platforms (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Gmail, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent data entry and organization capability
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Excellent math and computation skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, file, and prioritize work
