PlayWorks Therapy, Inc. is looking for a full-time pediatric physical therapist to service our clinic-based PlayWorks Prep program as well provide individual clinic-based, school-based, and home-based physical therapy services to children birth through twelve years of age. We provide services to both the private market as well as the Illinois Early Intervention program. Located in Roscoe Village, we are a multi-disciplinary practice that provides developmental therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, counseling/social work services, and play groups. Interventions combine aspects of both child-directed and adult-directed therapy models and are cognizant of each child’s global development. We emphasize family participation throughout our therapeutic process and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pediatric Physical Therapist Position Requirements:
- Doctorate from an CAPTE-accredited program
- Preferred one year pediatric experience; multidisciplinary setting is preferred
- Current PT license in Illinois
- Driver's license and personal vehicle with proof of insurance
- Strong knowledge of child development (specifically children birth to twelve)
- Personable, playful, and engaging; able to effectively build rapport with children and their families
- Motivated to become a contributing member of a growing team
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confidence in professional ability to effectively convey those skills and knowledge to clients
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and busy role
Pediatric Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, establish goals, and provide exceptional evidence-based treatment interventions for children birth to twelve
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Engage in mentorship process in open and collaborative manner
- Attend monthly team meetings
